Purpose: The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose it to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. Meetings: The United Methodist Women generally meets on the first Tuesday of the month - June through December at 6:30 p.m. Our program study this year is Sisterhood of Grace. Additional Activities Scheduled April - Spiritual Enrichment Program, Monday, April 9, 6:15pm at Faith, Waynesboro May - Ladies Banquet, Saturday May 4, 5:30 p.m. October - Mission Night Covered Dish, Oct67, 5:00 p.m. November - Thank Offering Service, Nov 17, 9:30 a.m. December - Christmas Program Dec 3, 6:30p.m. All meetings are open to all women of any age. Our meetings include a program and business meeting. Through our programs we learn of mission work around the world. Pledge to Mission: We make a Pledge to Missions and send our money to York District U.M.W. treasurer which goes through channels to Women's Division where money is dispersed throughout the United States and around the world to many mission projects of the United Methodist Church.
