United Methodist Women

Purpose:
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose it to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

Meetings:
The United Methodist Women generally meet on the first Tuesday of the month - May through December at 7:00 p.m. Our program study this year is A Call to Community.

April - Spiritual Enrichment Program, Tuesday, April 10, Otterbein UM Church, Newburg, 6:15-8:30pm
May  - Ladies Banquet, Saturday May 5, 5:30 p.m.
October   - Mission Night Covered Dish, Oct 7, 5:00 p.m. 
November - Thank Offering Service, Nov 18,  9:30 a.m.
December - Christmas Program - 7:00 p.m.

All meetings are open to all women of any age.  Our meetings include a program and business meeting.  Through our programs we learn of mission work around the world.

Pledge to Mission:
We make a Pledge to Missions and send our money to York District U.M.W. treasurer which goes through channels to Women's Division where money is dispersed throughout the United States and around the world to many mission projects of the United Methodist Church.  Our pledge for 2018 is $800.
